Our Premium Leather is crafted with a scratch- and water-resistant finish, designed for modern living with less maintenance while still offering the timeless quality TAU is known for.

Your order will be processed by the Tau leather team. You will either be contacted by the team to verify any uncertainties, or your order will go through to the manufacturing team where your product will be crafted and then delivered.

We make every effort to ship all orders within 7-10 working days on items that not in stock. We will communicate the potential delay when unforeseen situations occur (such as products that are out of stock).

Tau Original Leather

If something has spilled on your TAU Original Leather product, wipe the spillage with a damp cloth and let it dry naturally. Please do not place your product in the sun to dry.
For general upkeep and moisturising use our TAU Leather Cream which is sold both in store and online.

A specialised leather cleaner for protected leather can be used occasionally.

1. Everyday Care

  • Wipe your leather with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and surface dirt.

  • If exposed to water, simply pat dry with a clean cloth—no need to worry about staining.

2. Cleaning

  • For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and gently wipe the surface.

  • Avoid harsh soaps, detergents, or alcohol-based cleaners as they can damage the protective finish.

3. Storage

  • Store your product in a dust bag when not in use.

  • Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent fading.

  • Avoid storing in plastic, as leather needs to breathe.

1. Everyday Care

  • Wipe down with a soft, dry cloth to remove surface dust and dirt.

  • If your bag gets wet, pat dry immediately with a clean cloth and allow it to air dry naturally (please do not place your product in the sun to dry). 

2. Cleaning

  • For general cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth—avoid soaking the leather.

  • Steer clear of household cleaners, alcohol-based products, or abrasive cloths.

  • A specialised leather cleaner can be applied occasionally for deeper care.

3. Conditioning

  • Condition every 3–6 months with our TAU Leather Cream to prevent drying and cracking. 

  • Our TAU Leather Cream will also reduce any sign of scratches/general wear & tear marks.

4. Storage

  • Store in adust bag when not in use.

  • Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight, which can cause fading or drying.

  • Never store in plastic bags—leather needs air circulation.
